Storky Adventures Guide

A good adventure starts safely.

Check current conditions, travel sensibly and collect at your own pace. Your safety always comes first.

Effective: 14 October 2026

The simple rule

Storky is a planning aid, not a navigation, emergency, rescue, weather, medical, accessibility or safety service. You make the final decision about every journey and stop. No plan or collectible is worth taking a risk—change it, skip it or turn back whenever something does not feel right.

Before you leave

  • Check the current official page for opening, booking, closures and local restrictions.
  • Check your full route, return journey, parking or last service home.
  • Check weather, tides, water conditions and daylight when relevant.
  • Confirm the exact accessibility arrangements needed by your group.
  • Take suitable clothing, footwear, water, medication, maps and a charged phone.
  • Tell someone where you are going and when you expect to return when appropriate.

While you are out

  • Follow signs, closures, landowner instructions, local law and marked public routes.
  • Give traffic, cliffs, water, slippery or uneven ground, livestock and changing conditions proper space.
  • Supervise children and anyone in your care; keep dogs under effective control.
  • Do not use Storky or another phone app while driving. Let a passenger operate it or stop somewhere safe.
  • Do not rely on mobile signal. Be ready to change the plan or turn back.

Collect safely

A Storky pin and proximity radius confirm only that your device appears nearby. They do not confirm a safe route, public access, an open entrance or permission to enter. Never cross a barrier, trespass, approach an unsafe edge or enter a closed area for a stamp. You can skip a check-in and add a genuine past visit later. Rewards do not expire and are never more important than safety.

Access information

Access conditions can change and the needs of two people are not identical. Storky shows only the evidence recorded for a place. Confirm entrances, gradients, surfaces, lifts, toilets, seating, assistance, parking and emergency evacuation directly with the venue or land manager before relying on them.

Emergency help

Do not use Storky as an emergency service. In the United Kingdom, call 999 or 112 for urgent help. At the coast, call 999 and ask for the Coastguard.
